# How do I create a cookie that is deposited after consent?

Analytics or marketing teams need to capture information on more than a single page of the site. The cookie will meet this need, but some precautions must be taken to remain in compliance with the rec

## How to proceed

1. Go to the Options tab of TagCommander and select the 'data storage' tab 
2. Click on the 'add data storage' button 
3. Name the cookie, attach it to the desired container. 
4. Set its life span and usage, using the drop-down menus. 
5. Assign a privacy category to it 
6. Click on save 
7. Go to the TagCommander editing step. You can now generate and deploy your container. The cookie is ready to use.
