# How to modify/add a category to the privacy center?

## How to proceed

1. In the Trust categories & tags tab, add or modify the text as desired
2. In the Trust privacy banner tab, select the banner to be modified in order to verify that the preference center complies with expectations, then save and generate the privacy banner, in the generation and deployment step
3. Link, if necessary, certain tags to this new category. In the Trust categories & tags tab, tag assignment section. Modify the assignment of tags to categories using the drop-down menu provided for this purpose. Save each impacted container, using the save button, located on the top right. 
4. Regenerate all containers that have privacyconstrained tags Deploy these new container versions AND deploy the privacy banner generated in step 2
