# How can incoming data be transformed on the platform?

## How to proceed

1. Go to Configure > Data Management > Data Cleansing
2. Click on the New transformation button
3. Select the desired transformation: Rename an event / Modify a property / Create an event from an existing one or filter an unwanted event (coming soon)
4. Set the desired transformation parameters 
   1. Give a label and add a description (optional) 
   2. Making the transformation visible 
   3. Setting the transformation parameters 
   4. Save To check the transformation, go to Integration > Sources > Live events insepctor and filter on the conditions of the transformation carried out.
